It's working hard at Microsoft to improve relevancy of their MSN search engine. After the Vision-based Page Segmentation Algorithm who seem to be a brilliant new approach to understand the topic of a page and value them, here is the Block-level Link Analysis who seem to be a evolution of the precedent one. Watch out Google and Yahoo!.

Well if anyone has the money it is Bill Gates..

He would have bought everyone else already if not for AntiTrust Laws to hold him back.

I cannot wait for the day this get's implemented. If you are serious about SEO you should be thinking down these lines already....

I still can't come to terms with the fact MicroSoft may one day be sending me more traffic than Google. Rest assured it MAY happen, MS have a lot of offline force and I really think one day SEO will become a known profession and MS may just be the company to do this....

Think/ Global advertising campaigns educating potential website owners about the benefits of Search. Main steam media starts running stories about SEO and Web Development, documentries, the works.

It will happen one day, the question is will free search still exist then?

I think it's a fantastic idea - it's one of the only possible methods to have computers 'learn' to recognize visual patterns that we as humans are easily able to identify as spam.

It's also scary for many SEOs to think how those hundreds of thousands of dollars sunk into links could become valueless if they aren't moved into the body content of pages...

Certainly a very exciting piece to look forward to.
