I guess Microsoft has learned something from Google, if you check out the preview of the new Microsoft Search Engine.

Now how large is their database? Is the relevancy better?

Those are questions for us all to explore.

The "Query Builder" is a nice touch/find/gimmick. Especially the equalizer settings are creative.

Just tried a few search terms, and very surprising results. Lot better than the preview version i tried a few months ago.

Still seems to rely on exact phrase in titles and on page, and less weight to incoming links(compared to google). No result for the term i just tried looks out of place, unless you are used to seeing google results.

Yep it's down. I was going to check some things too. If my logs are correct, one of my sites should be represented in there with roughly 400% of it's 1000 pages or so included in the index....

Yes, the MSN robot on some days visits even more often than the currently supercharged Googlebot family.
