Instead of a PR bar, if possible, I'd like a quick indication of how recently a page had been cached, along with how significantly that cache effects what is served up by the SE about that particular page's qualities. Nothing to indicate potential SERPS, no brownie points, just a public confirmation of having been considered.
I don't know how useful it'd be for ROI, but it'd give a nudge towards self motivation, a so-so peek at the competition's updatedness, and a reminder for those in the sandbox that something is indeed happening.
I think that getting too specific with simplistic details such as quantity of incoming links is a setup for more schemes like link spam.
Anyone else want to weigh in, just for the fun of it?
I'm thinking the bar has become less meaningful over time, and I realy don't need it anymore. What is more important to me are things like rankings in search results and number of pages indexed. I can live without pagerank.
