It is true, the news is buzzing about it.

I think this is not just good for competition, but its even better because Jeeves has the ability to take PPC to the next level, in terms of creativity.

They now have the search tech, the PPC platform and all they need to do is expand their user numbers and they are set to compete with the big boys. IAC deal looking more and more logical.

PS - Also noticed Jeeves search on Match.com yesterday in addition to HSN and Ticketmaster. The distribution expansion continues.

I'm excited to see what they do with it. I think it could be a big opportunity for savvy advertisers who target high traffic terms.

Interesting! Wonder if it will be worth the time, effort and labour. I bet in some sectors and cities it will be an absolute boon for early adopters, but, for an Australian SEM, I doubt it will have much impact. Very interesting development though...

There were some interesting ideas from the patent application that they filed earlier this year on advertising. I've been wondering when they would start offering their own ads, and whether some of the ideas spelled out in this patent application would be executed upon:
