Might be easy to spam delicious but you won't get very far since all links have the nofollow attribute. But if can be good if you're just looking for traffic.

You know what, if you had a script that could spam Digg and get things on the front page automatically, you would probably get lots of Diggs for putting that online somewhere. Is that what you're looking for? In that case, it probably wouldn't even have to work biggrin.gif

How fast are things removed once they're recognized as "gaming the system"? Would the removal pull in many links if you could spread the word (game) that as well?

Or perhaps ... are you looking to get links or just traffic?

G-Man what type of tools are you looking for specifically? There are lots of them out there (off the shelf and home-grown) but most of them are crap.

Automation with Digg is not the answer. There is a bot for just about anything on Myspace but is anyone even interested in it anymore? The best luck you will have with automation is with the smaller, growing sites but as with anything - the traffic/results won't be as great...

Here's one I came across recently from Brain Penguin. Make sure to read his disclaimer before trying it out though wink-2.gif

Digg.com is extremly trigger-happy with bans, so be aware of this, especially when registering accounts, make sure you get a lot of proxies as you’ll get banned if you register more than two or three accounts on one IP. Also, don’t hold me responsible for any bannings you might recieve from Digg.com by using this script.
