The Information Revolution ads are sneaky, they get people to start talking about Ask.com (even if it doesn't look like it's workout out well).
But what would you say when Ask.com promoters come to your place of business and block visitors? Or if they were to run PPC ads on your company's name in the name of Ask.com? Crazy. Ask.com is paying "partners" for visitors that click on a tagged link to a search query - I don't know about you, but that's just asking for abuse (link-spam bonanza)... How much guerrilla marketing is too much? Or is the goal to offend this much, to get people to complain loudly (mentioning their name)? John |
