How can i change some urls of my site as of my requirement.
For ex: http://www.example.com/display.php?country...;city=San_Diego this is my url now i want the my url to be http://www.example.com/display.php/USA/Cal...&/San_Diego it can be change like this? And also this must applicable to the specific files only not to the whole site. |

Not in the way you want.
To show a meaningful URL the file name (display.php) should be at the end. However this article should help. |

Well... the mod-rewrite is a little cumbersome if you have lots of pages to alter....
You would probably be better served with a script to do it... if it is a custom job, you may find it worth while to get whoever supplied it (others or yourself) to lookinro a url enconde/decode script. Give this a try... http://www.evolt.org/article/Search_Engine...pache/17/15049/ |
