OK, this will probably be naff, but curious to know if it is possible.

I am experimenting once again with ad placement. I have manually added an ad within the content, in the 3rd para I think. Anyway, is there a way to do this automagically? Like, after 300 words or something? OK, could be messy, but curious.

Manually testing on most popular page, if it seems to work better would like to roll out on to rest of site. But do not really want to add a line of code to 1000 articles (although if auto not possible the top 20 will probably be good enough).

Funny enough I did the same thing a while ago.

I've uploaded the Adsense in content code/plugin here so see if it's useful for you.

No warranties btw and 10% of your earnings are mine <evil laughter>

It is good, but..... is there a way to tell it to skip <li>'s ? And images?

and ... what would be really good is the option to have it immediately after a <p> so that you can align it left and wrap the text around. - used <TABLE ALIGN=left width=240> instead!

Don't you just wish you kept quiet about it?

Yeah but they're clearly lying.

Hey, sort of on the same topic. Now got an ad in the content. I have added a little border to it, to set it apart. The ad is blended (same text/link color to site) but thought that maybe people would still be put off.

Obviously testing it now, but has anyone found a best performing ad format for in text. Using a 250x250 square aligned to the right in a table (sorry, my css sucks, cannot be bothered to do it properly right now).

Adsense recommends the medium 300x250 unit
