I wonder if anyone knows whether the search term suggestion tool provides search terms which are country specific. ie if I use the tool from the UK will it provide the number of searches made in the UK or worldwide for a specific term?

Hi,

I noticed that the suggestion term tool gives different results depending by the country-site you logged in.
This is logical, otherwise there would be no reason in creating different sub-account for different languages/countries.

Example : if you sell notebooks ( this word is used in many languages despite it is an english word) in Germany and want to advertise your web sites in .de search engines, you need to know what are the keywords used only by germans . It wouldn't be helpful to get a list of keywords used by english speakers potential clients.

Hope I have been enough clear...

Bye

actually, you can make it show UK only results, its just a matter of altering the URL:

eg.

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinve...t=us&lang=en_US

and

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinve...t=uk&lang=en_GB

great tips guys - thanks

I live in the uk and have always bypassed affiliate progs specific to the uk as I could not really target the keywords searched for over here, but now...

I feel a whole new bunch of challanges (or should that be opportunities?) coming on!
