April Fool on March 31?

ALMOST got me, until I read the part about
To stir up a little controversy in the Usability forum, we are going to add a couple of words to the title of that section, and call it:
• "Usability Must Die"
It's still the 31st of March here.

Who says we're kidding?

You rascals you!!!! My heart stopped for a while.
Now that I think of it, maybe this should be the tag sentence for the forum.
"Cre8asite - the forum for rascals."

Embarrassingly it wasn’t until the ‘More Color’ section that i realised...
That realization took me longer than I'll admit
(It wasn't signed by Commandant Kimberly.)

Fine, I'll throw in this fine guacamole made from 100% California Avocados. Yum!

Seeing my real face there, I have this image of myself wriggling out of opera length Velveeta-colored gloves, pulling blue cheese rhinestone accents off of my glasses... and I think there was a fringed and spangled ballgown... and some form of elegant cheesy footwear. And, wow, there's this (magic?) orange dust everywhere - looks like cheese puffs. I seem to remember wearing a floor-length boa made of Cheetos, maybe a cheese-and-crackers tiara? The memories are fading so quickly.
Was it all a dream?

No, this is just an early morning Saturday reflection. In HR they've got a thread called, The thread that wouldn't die. It started off when qwerty, one of the moderators there, was first appointed. That thread just lies there and I and others have been known to drop in and kick life into it every two or three months.
Perhaps this thread could find it's self sustaining as well. Certainly avatars is a thing we could really get our teeth in to. The questions are endless. After all, we all could have one but some don't. Mmm... Then the more recent question: should everyone in the southern hemisphere have their avatars upside down? People on the equator could have them on their side. Perhaps we need to add a poll to this thread?
That's a few things to talk about if we agree this is the topic of the thread and we stay on topic. Then there's all the off-topic additions. My mind is just boggled by the possibilities.

Hey! What are you doing in MY head!
Great avatar (pic).
A face makes the community more personable.

Thanks again for compliments on my avatar.
Any credit goes entirely to my daughter, especially for the smile.
She had the camera.
I had in mind something more posed. She used big accessibility/usability concepts like "relax" and "smile" and she was so earnest!
How could I not?

I could make you a great (free) deal on a slightly used boa - quite a signature item, if I say so myself.
Somewhere in this thread there are a few other personality laden items - a dollar or so in change under the couch cushions, bubble gum (the kind with a comic inside?!!) maybe a Fiona Apple cd, some chips, avocados and Kind Island cheeeese?
Yeah, ok, so it was King Island. I blame the spellchucker.
Anyhoo, sounds like we have ingredients for 3/4 of a party. Invitations, anyone? Put on your dancing bear mug and be prepared to play charades. Eventually someone will snap a picture of your bear, or your mug, and, oopsie, heehee, well, I guess that part of avatar posting would be up to you, huh?
