I managed to sign up for the MSN adCenter with surprising ease. So far the interface looks pretty clean and setting up a campaign was straightforward. I'll let you all know how I find it.

It doesn't say Beta but my understanding is the general sign up form would only be available for a limited time.

I was too slow at the gate. I will watch for a post on this topic, and next time will drop what I'm doing and just go ahead and sign up without any excuses such as, "well I'll just finish this first." Famous last words . . .

I'm still waiting for ad approval at this stage.

So far I really like the interface, it's pretty intuitive. The keyword suggestion tools have also been surprisingly good.

I've read some complaints abut people having trouble in Firefox and IE 7 - I'm on IE 6 and so far so good.

Well so far I'm still waiting for my ads to be approved. I'm sure they're busy with an influx of advertisers but at least an ETA would be nice.

Is anyone else trialling adCenter? I'd love to hear how others are finding it.

hi there,
right now there's actually a known issue on our end where in some cases, ads and keywords are running even though the adCenter tool says they're pending. so sanity, it's possible your ads might be running, if they are you should see impressions and clicks in the tool.

i don't have an eta on this, but we're working to fix it, and i'll let you know here when this is resolved.

also - eKstreme - we will have a publisher version of adCenter at some point, but i don't have a timeline yet. i'll let you know here when i know anything.

I had noticed my ads were running whilst saying they were pending so thanks for clearing that up. The program is still in beta so these things are bound to happen.

adCenter411 is a real person, and is really from Microsoft. I had hoped to meet with adcenter411 during the recent New York SES but didn't get the chance.
