Now you don't have to use different validators anymore (one for CSS and one for your HTML):

No, the standard validator only checks your HTML - this new project validates both CSS and HTML in one go. It's a nice little time savings, if you're needing to verify both parts of your code - otherwise you have to use http://validator.w3.org for HTML and http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ to validate your CSS.

Interesting! I've been testing these separately. Thanks for the link to the combo! :D

No, it was just info from my side. I have nothing to do with it. Also get that error if I forget to use http:// in the check - http://www.weddingchaos.co.uk works (so they should add some validation of the URI or something).

Ah, so it does!

I had *assumed* they would have validated their code worked ;-)

Wish I had never ran my site through it now!

It looks like they are still testing it themselves and are open to feedback here

You just have to read what it says on the site; "public preview". It's not that they haven't tested their work, they just haven't finished it!

Working all the bugs out of a complex tool takes time and a lot of hard user testing - thus, the public preview.

Send them feedback!

:D
