A federal district court judge ruled Wednesday that a retailer may be sued if its website is inaccessible to the blind. The ruling was issued in a case brought by the National Federation of the Blind against Target Corp.

How would that apply to international websites (aren't they all )? Uuf!

Off Topic offtopicWe've worked together with a local company who specializes in hard- and software for seeing impaired / blind and have managed to get our administrative and planning / calendar software compatible with the screen readers they install. For the seeing impaired who rely on tools like that, it is a great step forward to finally be able to do appointment planning at all. I love it when tools like that can be used to not just create revenue for the company, but to also provide people with real work :P.
