I'm not sure that there is anything specifically like Google's reinclusion requests in Yahoo, but there are ways to contact Yahoo's customer care, from within some of the different topics in Yahoo Search Help:
http://help.yahoo.co...arch/index.html
Here's the page to the quality guidelines there:
http://help.yahoo.co.../basics-18.html
At the very bottom, there's a heading: "Is this enough information?" and yes and no buttons. If you click on the no button, you'll see a form where you can provide more information, and maybe get a response.

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually, upon some further scrutiny, I think I know what might have happened here. It was some screwing around on the client's end that might have caused this. I believe I can rectify it w/o involving Yahoo so fingers crossed. Thanks for the offer Rand, as I'm sure you have a busy schedule as it is.

What kind of "screwing around" was your client doing? I am not sure how it could influence only Yahoo if it was something general. Please elaborate, thanks!

Well, I emailed Rand privately told him the issue and it basically involves a 301 redirect. Though a 301 redirect isn't possible.
Anyway, here is what happened. I did a search for the domain on yahoo. Sure enough, it showed up but it's parked at the registrar's domain page. Well, the http://mydoman.com is parked But the same domain search on Google and MSN says it is ok regardless if it's http:// or http://www . So apparently this issue is systemic within Yahoo for some reason?
So I had to go fix the CNAME so that the http:// [w/o the www.] will work. Godaddy is my domain registrar and as always their tech support was of limited help . I think the issue is resolved but I have to give it a couple days so that it will propagate through the system. Stay tuned....
PS. there is enough backlinks and the age of the site is over a year so i know those aren't factors in this.

Though, I find it weird that this happens only to Y and not G or M. Anyone know why?
