I KNEW I laughed too much. Bill is far more respectable. LOL

I opened my copy of Search Marketing Standard (magazine) yesterday, I guess who I find? Our own beloved Kim! Wierd seeing someone you know in a printed publication. Congrats again.

Yay for Kim and Bill!
I was so excited watching that. You guys did a great job. This is the 2nd interview I have seen of both of you (the earlier ones were individual interviews) and I have to say, I really like how slowly both of you speak. You are very calm. It's easy to understand you. I think you do so well on camera, guys!
Neat-o and congratulations!

I think that we both might have been a little stunned from our visit to Google when Mike interviewed us. It certainly is a different working atmosphere. You could literally see the ideas floating about the building.

That's how I felt for sure. I hadn't a chance to process all that I'd seen there. Since photos aren't allowed, I was working overtime recording everything in my head. I also used to work for a "hip" dotcom with a work hard/play hard environment. Google brought back memories on that.
I think the video caught our personalities well...all 3 of us due to the informal nature. Bill and I are very approachable people and I think the video illustrated that.
Thanks for the feedback.

That particular video was taken while his film partner was taking a break. Nobody was physically manning the camera. It was pointed to the 3 of us and Mike had the mike. I was wondering how the camera knew to zoom in...Bill? Any idea how he did that?
In any case, it was not a formal interview by any means. I was told by two Webpronews folks that they actually appreciate the ones that are lively and funny. Makes for a better show I guess.

I'd think the video was later edited. Spose you can do that with a video, right?

I guess that's what I get for (all too often) dumping my webpronewsletters without reading them first. I would have totally missed this if Kim hadn't posted the link. I did go back and check out today's newsletter, which has Rand's interview.

I was just at your blog looking at all the photo links of the SES. Great photos.
Hey, Kim, Nate is too cute!!!! (imagine a wolf whistle emoticon placed here) Glad an "angel" appeared and helped you out. (Nate was my dad's name so I'm partial to it.)

Nate is too cute!!!!
Yeah. Not sure why we clicked but it was fun to meet him. He held up well under all the hoopla...he drove Bill and I to Google Mon. nite. We were a trio most of the week
The pictures everyone took definitely captured the week. It was crazy, busy and tons of fun in a more laid back atmosphere...

That was a great interview. You should get Mike M to come to Cre8asite and a set of video interview classes for us - there is so much to learn from an interview video that would take ages to thrash out in print.
Well done Kim and Bill, (and Mike!)
