I know this is a long shot, but has anyone seen or heard of any new books on the Virtual Earth API? Thanks

I have been interested in getting to grips with the Virtual Earth API for a while and decided to have a look on amazon and get a book
.... But.... there are none??
I know this is a long shot, but has anyone seen or heard of any new books on the Virtual Earth API? Thanks

One of the truisms that I've seen on the Web for a long time is that the best place to learn about the Web is on the Web.
The last time I delved into Microsoft's Virtual Earth, I found a number of blogs and community sites set up on the topic, like this one:
http://viavirtualear...rd/Default.ashx
It links to, and features articles like this one:
Clustering Virtual Earth on Version 5 RSS
http://viavirtualear...lustering3.ashx
and this one:
Customizing your own Mini-Map RSS
http://viavirtualear...es/MiniMap.ashx
I suspect that those are more timely, and might help you more than a book on the subject.

You're welcome.
If you aren't subscribed to the RSS feeds for some of the mapping blogs out there, you may want to consider doing that, too.
Here are a couple on Virtual Earth:
Virtual Earth / Live Maps
http://virtualearth.spaces.live.com/
Virtual Earth For Government
http://virtualearth4...om/default.aspx
