Does anyone know if you can pull out what times of the day people visited your site using Google analytics? I cant seem to find it anywhere ;)

You could use server side scripting to tag all your URLs based on the current time.

aka. I haven't used Analytics in a while ;)

Hey John ;)

I was kind of hoping to get the last couple of months data on this... And as I had Analytics plumbed in already I thought I'd give it a try.

Google search query: [google analytics time of day] ;)

http://groups.google...7813a0994cfe096

You can view visits by hour, under Visitors --> Visitor Trending -->
Visits. You'll see View by: Daily | Hourly, and you can see your
hourly trends.

You can view hourly trends for other reports as well...

Great you can see the visitors by time of day, but can't look at time of day on any other area but that one eh. l

would like to see, for example, paid search effectiveness by time of day, organic by time of day, by country by time of day, by state/province -looks like that ain't happening yet.
Looking at the google conversion optimizer, well, they must have this info internally to do the conversion optimization I think???
