The concept is cool. One place to manage all your advertising spots, no matter where they come from. Sell some ads directly? Manage 'em there. Use an ad network? Or two or three networks? Manage 'em there. Want Adsense to fill in some empty holes? Manage it there. And apparently, Google can decide which ads to use based on which will earn us the most money, although I assume some ads have been contracted to appear at least X amount of times, so hopefully that is factored in.
The problem for me is that I'm just not in the mood to learn one more thing. I was just glancing through the Google Ad Manager Help Center (which annoys me because I have to use my back button a million times to see answers to each section). Anyway, it just quickly started turning into lots of mumbo jumbo, my eyes glazed over, and I lost interest.
I'm sure I'll come back and start with a fresh brain soon, because it's obviously something that I should use, but I feel like I have to go take Ad Management classes now. Sigh...
I know some of you have been using the Beta version. Your thoughts and impressions would be great.
