Yelp,
Do they answer emails? I sent one, no response.
1) can change business name once you choose it
2) can you quickly remove you listing if you choose to?

Most local directories are rubbish for updating info unless you have a paid listing. Bit ironic that they don't have a phone number on their website.

As an alternate solution try submitting the new details as this can prompt them to realise they have the old details and they'll call to clarify. Or write a tweet asking to speak to someone at Yelp, if they monitor social media they should catch it.

I hope that helps.

Yelp should be ok, their biggest problem is their size. As any other big organisation (except Apple ;-) their customer service and support are slooow to respond, but they will eventually.

Well, I needed managed to get a Google+ page reassigned in 24 hours, so after years I can write one measly line about Google doing something good!

1.  With regard to general emails they generally won't respond.  If you challenge a review they'll typically respond, but unless it violates a clear parameter or is the kind of thing that might gather inappropriate press they generally won't drop it.

1.  Yes.  You can change business names.

2.  Yelp is a directory.  If a business is live and operating they will generally keep it in the directory.
