At least for the next several years I don't see this being a mark of a quality site. Instead, the mark of a site trying to dance to some possible algo advantage. I doubt that it will be worth much in the algo for a few years.
If it turns out to be kickass I am sure that the word will spread fast... then again, mainly sites trying to dance for the algo will be participants - not a mark of quality.
