(cross posted to Google+, Google webmaster forum and here, sorry if you see it more than once)
At some point last week (I think) Google picked up my rel="author" mark-up between my Google profile page and website author page. Suddenly my profile was linked up in the search results.
Today I noticed it was no longer there.
Is this common? Or did I possibly break something? :emo3:

I spent a bunch of time on it and then preferred methods started changing.
One reason that I am not often an early 'SE suggested' adopter. Especially when it is primarily for someone else's benefit.
Only yours...Yours too, or just mine?
Matt Cutts checked in with Pierre Far and John Mueller and the trio realized that they hadn't mucked with Jon yet this month... :emo6:

Cheers Donna, i know!
Sad really isn't it. I asked this question here, on Google+ and in the webmaster forum. Only here and G+ I got any response. Why are Google forums so poor? Some things do get replies, but all too often people post and nothing. I wonder, are there any stats for the number of posts never replied to in google forums? I appear to have 12 questions that were never answered. Tut.

Pierre, there are quite a few people who've noticed the same thing. It's like the gates were opened, and then quickly closed.
Anyhow, an example query for me was [Am I The Only Person Who Despises reCAPTCHA] which put my pic and author name on the resulting blog post from my dd blog. Showed up for a couple of days, and then went bye bye again.

This thread is how I found this forum and I must admit I really like the look of it.
I’m another one that briefly had my ugly mug appear only for it to disappear.
Search term “3D animations” website www.sevenoaksart.co.uk
On reading this thread I noted the comments about the Google forums and how many questions are going unanswered.
How I agree with that, I was a TC on one of these forums and there were many questions that I could not answer and needed help from Google itself. This rarely happened and in the end I resigned. I’m told that things are different these days. Are they I wonder?
Just started work so I will introduce myself properly later.
