site:domain.com in Google does not bring up a page that can be called in Google search by typing in the http://domain.com/fullpathtopage.html

What does that mean?

To me it means Google is broken, and unless I hear otherwise maybe I should just open the tap of links.

This might be too basic an answer, but I've had some pages that used to work as:

site:http://domain.com

but now only work as

site:www.domain.com

Site search isn't guaranteed to show you every page on a site. It has never worked that was so far as I can recall. Usually, pointing more links at a page helps.

I commented earlier, but either it disappeared or someone deleted it. So I'll repeat myself.

I don't understand what you are saying.

site:domain.com in Google does not bring up a page that can be called in Google search by typing in the http://domain.com/fullpathtopage.html

I've read that line 100 times, and I still don't get what it is saying. Apparently others understand it just fine, though, so could someone expand on that line and explain it to me? My old shriveling brain just refuses to comprehend it.
