If you think that Mozilla is FireFox you are wrong: FF is Mozilla but Mozilla is becoming more, much much more. Take a look at Mozilla's product-related roadmaps on MozillaWiki...

Perhaps the avenues with the most potential for disruption are 'open' user-centric Apps and 'Boot to Gecko' a web based OS for phones and tablets but there is quite a lot else as well. An intriguing read.

I agree that they have some brand confusion. And, when I visit their "roadmap" page their mission description still needs help.

They need somebody who can write faceslapper content.

User-centric Apps. There's a thought. I've written elsewhere about the App Internet. Perhaps the Web is on its last legs. If Apps become the way to work, what relevance will Google Web Search have. Luckily they can work hard on all those Android apps and hope somehow they can still get advertising revenue.
