Hey guys....
Have you ever heard of a project management software that can perform important functions like budgeting, resource allocation etc. ? Well I just heard of this concept and wanted to know your opinion on the same. What do you think friends, do these kind of softwares have any future in our industry? I am confused about the impact such software will have when it comes to human effort and elements involved in management areas. Will it prove to be of any help?

I use excel or a google documents spreadsheet.
That works well for my simple needs.
I like to put more "brain" into these efforts than "software".
