I wonder what animal Google will use next for their next round of mass algorithm upsets changes? For first thought was Pony.

Then, I started to think making they want to find a "P" animal in various countries or continents, so then I thought of Polar Bear.

What would you choose if you were in charge of the naming? :saywhat:

Maybe to stick with black and while animals beginning with p, pelican will be next. At least when we get to zebra we'll know it is finally over.

I went with the Pipit but I don't think the next name will necessarily be an animal. Remember that "Panda" was the surname of the engineer for whom the algorithm was named. It's actually quite a common name in India, as I understand it. It's also the name of a dairy product.

Shift focus off SEO and onto the goal to eliminate search engine spam and call it extinct.

Maybe they should try to hire engineers with last names that are animals. As a signing bonus, they could promise to name the next penalty algorithm update after them.

Wait a minute, maybe I should be careful. If Google reads this they would probably think this was a great idea and a great way to pay their engineers less. And then those underpaid engineers would be attempting to design algorithm updates that perfectly select "bad people" and leave "good people" alone.

And...maybe that's why .......never mind.

It's high time they took care of copied content, so I'm voting for a Parrot update.

At this point I would suggest pariah, it would be fitting all this hoopla. I do like Panther though, but I fear Apple has taken that out of the equation with their "Panther" OS.

I couldn't help myself. I had to know what a pilchard is and found this --

Pitching Pilchards to Snook - Tossing lures and flies to actively feeding snook is a lot of fun, no doubt. But for persnickety snook, pitching pilchards is the formula for fast action.

Sure, why not?,LOL!

How about a dung beetle, for what its spiders have to get through.

Or a chameleon because it changes so often.
