Can someone help with this problem I am having for coding. I'm not worried about how the final result is made, it just needs to be able to be loadable inside a page.html. So external Javascript etc is fine.

What I have is a master text file which has a series of values in it.

Here is an example of the data you would find in the master text file.

What I want is that when someone opens the page what they see is a drop-down field box with the values, Name,name2,name3 and then underneath the data URL, KW, DESCRIPTION. If the person changes the value of the drop-down so too the other data parts update.

I think it is easy but have no idea how to do it.

I can think of jquery but maybe something easier could that all the info is there but hidden. Only the one that matches the current name from the drop down shows. Selecting a name in the drop-down box triggers an event that hides the current and displays the new selected one. I think i did something like this. Let me check.

Just did it was done using jquery. It looks like a tab menu and under is a bus schedule. Clicking an new tab displays a new schedule. No Internet interaction.

On another I used an iframe and an action from a form.

If that master list is long... OUCH that's a lot of coding.
