      20 Years! Cre8asiteforums 1998 - 2018   01/18/2018

Cre8asiteforums In Its 20th Year In case you didn't know, Internet Marketing Ninjas released many of the online forums they had acquired, such as WebmasterWorld, SEOChat, several DevShed properties and these forums back to their founders. You will notice a new user interface for Cre8asiteforums, the software was upgraded, and it was moved to a new server.  Founder, Kim Krause Berg, who was retained as forums Admin when the forums were sold, is the hotel manager here, with the help of long-time member, "iamlost" as backup. Kim is shouldering the expenses of keeping the place going, so if you have any inclination towards making a donation or putting up a banner, she is most appreciative of your financial support.

My Yahoo Ranking Dropped After Using Google Code?

Recommended Posts

My site went live 01-21-07 at http://www.yourfreshstart.us.

I was doing great on Yahoo and Google.

Then I placed Google code for their Analytics

And then watched my Yahoo rankings drop like a rock.

I track 21 keyword phrases

And was on the first page on 17 searches

Now I am down to 6. That's a way crazy drop in two weeks.

I have a blog and blog almost daily... And on my index page

I have a daily cleaning tip prominetly placed and it is changed daily...

The API didn't do much for my Google results

But it seems to have killed me with Yahoo...

I removed it today... Any ideas? The site has a PR of 3 in a local niche market... I'm stumped!

I really think your drop is not becose Google Analytics code, you can add code again. Something else was wrong and it's hard to tell what without more informations.

I have some sites also with Analytics code and i did'n see any problems with it.

Yes I would also doubt that it was due to that. Maybe it was just the natural adjustment of your ranking? SE's do it quite often - they set you up at one place but shift you, a.k.a. Google / SE dance

Hi geeurbie,

Well I consider thts happen more or less with every websites..like initially they have good rankings with all the major search engines but after few good days,it drops down like nothing. So i would advise you to stick with it, and in the mean time get some good inbound links for your site.Hope it will be ok then!
