      20 Years! Cre8asiteforums 1998 - 2018   01/18/2018

Cre8asiteforums In Its 20th Year In case you didn't know, Internet Marketing Ninjas released many of the online forums they had acquired, such as WebmasterWorld, SEOChat, several DevShed properties and these forums back to their founders. You will notice a new user interface for Cre8asiteforums, the software was upgraded, and it was moved to a new server.  Founder, Kim Krause Berg, who was retained as forums Admin when the forums were sold, is the hotel manager here, with the help of long-time member, "iamlost" as backup. Kim is shouldering the expenses of keeping the place going, so if you have any inclination towards making a donation or putting up a banner, she is most appreciative of your financial support.

They should try to get better with what they've got rather than just getting bigger. Size isn't everything.

In Brussels, many of the mounting objections filed to the commission in recent weeks centered on privacy issues, rather than questions about how a Google-DoubleClick merger would affect competition.

That is the most interesting part.

Although I'm quite laid back about all this myself, I do think privacy, especially in the light of monitoring, industry espionage and other forms of abuse, is a valid point to review.

Europe has been more concerned with privacy than the USA for a while now (but I'm not saying the US isn't - no flame wars please!). I'm not surprised the EU was concerned about this.

The other thing which comes out of privacy is access to customer data. Since this helps ad targeting, it does affect competition. It's just a step down the line...
