      20 Years! Cre8asiteforums 1998 - 2018   01/18/2018

      Cre8asiteforums In Its 20th Year In case you didn't know, Internet Marketing Ninjas released many of the online forums they had acquired, such as WebmasterWorld, SEOChat, several DevShed properties and these forums back to their founders. You will notice a new user interface for Cre8asiteforums, the software was upgraded, and it was moved to a new server.  Founder, Kim Krause Berg, who was retained as forums Admin when the forums were sold, is the hotel manager here, with the help of long-time member, "iamlost" as backup. Kim is shouldering the expenses of keeping the place going, so if you have any inclination towards making a donation or putting up a banner, she is most appreciative of your financial support.

Placing Adsense In Certain Spot

Recommended Posts

I am very new to scripting and I need help placing google adsense on the left margin of my blog. I had a plugin to place it randomly inside the entries but that looks horrible. I know its an easy script I just do not know where I should place it to get into the left margin of my wordpress blog.

Here is the blog:

iphone-3g-forums.com/blog

and here is the google adsense I am going to place there:

<script type="text/javascript"><!--google_ad_client = "pub-5416273808173231";/* 160x600, created 7/12/08 */google_ad_slot = "9503428307";google_ad_width = 160;google_ad_height = 600;//--></script><script type="text/javascript"src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script>

I can provide any other scripts or templates needed I just do not know which one it is..

You ned to add it to teh themes directory which is... hold on, let me look...

{WHERE_EVER_YOU_INSTALLED_WORDPRESS}/wp-content/themes/{NAME_IF_YOUR_THEME}/sidebar.php

Now, if there is no file named sidebar.php, then your theme uses the default one, which is here:

{WHERE_EVER_YOU_INSTALLED_WORDPRESS}/wp-content/themes/default/sidebar.php

Opn that file, and put the script in. You'll have to keep fiddlingt until you get it right, but that should be a start at least!
