So this is a live thing yeah? Will check it out and try not to forget, hopefully LinkedIn will remind me ,.....

Um, where is it shown then? Through LinkedIn?

I am a bit new to webcasts, as you can probably tell.

Oh, hang on, on the other site? Filling in the form ..... stop me if I am going the wrong way!

this form is not very friendly. Struggling with "Responsibility". Some would say none. The only answer I can give really is "everything plus some more". Hmmm....

Yes it's live and unscripted, meaning I'll giggle too much.

And, yep. The AMA has an annoying form. Just make up stuff. I did! Bad Kimmy! :nanadevil::nanadevil:

Of course, Twitter crapped out for thousands of us this afternoon. I have no idea if/when the tweet will ever be seen. I'll retweet it later this week.

LOL, the *best* part of the form was this question:

Are you interested in receiving notifications about upcoming AMA webcasts?

Yes, a few times per week

Yes, once a week

Umm...there's no option to choose No, I am not interested. :)

Donna, that question wasn't required. Considering it was the only non-obligatory question, it *was* kinda weird :)

Huh, my bad. I just assumed it was required like the rest of 'em.

I'm beginning to think I hit Twitter's infamous throttle switch. I was retweeting and tweeting at a pretty rapid clip so I might have been tagged for a robot. I looked at their support page and it was flooded with complaints from people seeing the same issues as me so I assumed it was the service. Maybe there were just too many people trying to tweet too fast.

They need to learn how to tell the difference between a twitter robot and a Twitter Machine!

I don't know. Their Help section has so many people reporting similar problems, it's hard to determine what is going on.

I can still get through to my followers. Just not showing up in Twitter Search. It's not like that's a big deal, I suppose. I still get plenty of retweets.

Sorry for derailing your thread, Kim. Maybe these posts should be carved off to a "Twitter Account Issues" discussion.

Just got back from the gym (my garage) to hear some funky jazzy music. It must almost be showtime!

Was interesting. I admit I got distracted a couple of times, a client contacted me and chatted with them for a while, but mostly listened.

The one thing that stuck in my mind and which I plan to change, especially with the author thing, is changing "about" to something sexier.

I had to miss the first half myself but thought the second half was well done. The Q-and-A session raised some interesting issues. I've played around with "click here" types of links but have never really found a universally satisfying approach.

I missed it yesterday, Do you have recorded webcast or any presentation material available?

nuttakorn, It will be available on slideshare probably tomorrow, I think. In the meantime, I blogged about it, and while it isn't word for word, it's a fairly comprehensive take on it, I believe. Plus it includes some of my thoughts throughout. You can see my post at http://www.dazzlindonna.com/blog/making-mo...ins-with-users/ or wait for the slideshare to come out, which I'm sure Kim will link to here when it does.

I missed it by the hour (too late, surprisingly). Blasted non-typical time zones :) CDT confused me ;)

It appears I can't download the recording as well, so I probably won't be waiting for it to download in my browser (I prefer to consume large media in my player, because it's faster). So much for user centered design. Three times here (2nd was, when it asked me for my name, when I clicked on a link from their email with my info).

Hey, Kim, in my post, I asked if you would stop by and expand upon one point. Would love if you would do that. :)
