      20 Years! Cre8asiteforums 1998 - 2018   01/18/2018

Cre8asiteforums In Its 20th Year In case you didn't know, Internet Marketing Ninjas released many of the online forums they had acquired, such as WebmasterWorld, SEOChat, several DevShed properties and these forums back to their founders. You will notice a new user interface for Cre8asiteforums, the software was upgraded, and it was moved to a new server.  Founder, Kim Krause Berg, who was retained as forums Admin when the forums were sold, is the hotel manager here, with the help of long-time member, "iamlost" as backup. Kim is shouldering the expenses of keeping the place going, so if you have any inclination towards making a donation or putting up a banner, she is most appreciative of your financial support.

Ekstreme Mobile At The Bounce Bar

Recommended Posts

This is simply pure awesome:

hold a search event at the... Bounce Ping Pong Bar

If you can be in London (UK not ON, just saying, it's a common mistake :)) for 30-January-2017 buy an £11.21 - interesting amount - (currently $18.53CA, $13.72US, ‎€13.08) ticket to Search London's 6th Birthday Party and while getting tipsy and paddling a ping pong ball listen to Cre8's most eKstreme member, Pierre Far, give his take on "How to prepare for Google's mobile-first future".

Sadly I won't be attending.
Even sadder I don't get an affiliate kickback.

For all of us who won't be attending Pierre shares a tidbit:

Want to prepare for Google's mobile-first index?

Emulate a mobile in devtools, throttle network to 2G, and browse around.

You're welcome.

Thank you for the plug kind iamlost.

Obviously this is a topic close to heart, and i have my take on things. I'll see about sharing my slides after the event. Speaking of which, I really need to get started on the slides!

Pierre: Don't rush it. You can zip these together on 1/29/17. Happy New Year

True, but but but, one of my most constant pieces of advice I give to clients is to have better processes. Pulling an all-nighter right before the event is not me following my advice.

That's how you get your current "state of mind" into the presentation.

So... if I were to share my slides or somehow publish them, would it be OK to spam link drop share with the community here?

So... if I were to share my slides or somehow publish them, would it be OK to spam link drop share with the community here?

The RULES below state quite clearly that:

* if you SPAM :ninja: at Cre8 you will be BANNED! :kill_spam:

* if you LINK DROP :ninja: at Cre8 the link will be REMOVED :censor: and you will be CHIDED :C _DOCUME~1_Donna_LOCALS~1_Temp by PM. :dazed:

* if you SHARE :icon_santa: with the Cre8 community you will be LOVED  and your contribution greatly APPRECIATED :cheerleader: .

So... feel free to pick one

P.S. I've been waiting almost a month already!

Aaw that looks good, and Aleyda's talks are always great. But however much I relish the idea of embarassing myself at ping pong, I've been in Landaan far too much recently.

Hope it's a good one!

Sold out!

But London is way too far from Essex for me these days :)

OK, waaay back on the 30th, an entire 5-days ago Search London had it's bash.

A couple of things stand out from my perspective all this time since:
1. RE: Search London's 6th Birthday Party Photos
Everyone is so &^%$#@!!!! young.
Where are all the ancient and decrepit geezers that made London 'the' place for search in days of yore?
Who put all those mere toddlers in charge?
Note to self: put self portrait in attic.
Note to self: get attic in which to put said self portrait.
Note to self: get a grip!

2. RE: afore mentioned I'll see about sharing my slides after the event.
Umm...
Yes?
Hello, Pierre?

He was there (with Jo Turnbull and Tim Sheed)
Note: hey folks who upload pics on industry aka public events- identify the blasted people! please?

The evidence:

He gave his presentation.
Note: Pierre is so tall the camera has trouble focussing...

If we all jump up and down and shout together I'm sure we can slosh the Atlantic enough to get his attention...

SLIDES!

SLIDES!

Please share the slides!

I didn't actually have to post the above but Pierre not stopping by was just too good an opportunity to have some fun.

Although he didn't actually stop by and spam (so he's not banned) or linkdrop (so there was nothing to remove) neither did he share! Oh my!

However, he did post on his very own site so forthwith I shall spam link drop share (on his behalf) his deliberately digitally Epic Mobile SEO Guide.

Epic?

I ask you...

Aye for basketball. Still do a bit.

Pierre is the Lebron/Michael Jordan of Search/Google/this place Now I'm impressed. Or possibly he is more contemporary the Steph Curry of all these non basketball places. Bravo!!! Or possibly he is the unique SEO/Euro Step provider
