Americans Don't Trust Government And Social Sites To Protect Their Data

Sooner or later everyone will experience some type of privacy violation. And many more will experience hacking, stolen information, online theft, etc. several times.


Education is key but getting the information out there is not as much of an issue as much as the tendency by some people to be in denial that there is a problem.

Virtually any digital action that internet users may take – from using credit cards to logging into social media sites – creates data that is stored by companies, governments or other organizations. And when those data are stored, they present opportunities for theft or misuse.
